A Life In Photography

For as long as I can remember,the summer of 1972 was a seminal one. It was the first time I had seen photographs that were in black & white. They were tiny 35mm contact prints my uncle had taken with his Nikon.
These gems were mounted onto white 5x7 cardboard sheets and stored in a metal box like keepsakes.Modern reliquaries. Immediately I was drawn to these stamp size wonders..... I can still vividly recall how they glowed so mysteriously., how they drew me in, and how wonderful it was to hold them.

It was at that moment that I decided to make it my life's work.
