There's nothing like the light after a late afternoon summer storm.

Everything gleams and glows....a cleansing effect if you will. I found myself wandering a few miles from home in my car and came across some sweetness.

This is what I see everyday. Proof the idea of man and landscape can still happily co-exist.

These are images of the ever present imprints we leave as a culture -modern artifacts in the land  , conditions and scenes of normality and acceptance that it can sometimes be hard to imagine what a field must have looked at one time before power lines and fences, as if they were always that way.

Pure landscape to me is boring. A mountain, a perfect cloud with perfect light, meh, buy a postcard.

There is a tangible, pedestrian splendor in the everyday scene.

For my friends that aren't doing so well....
